I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any recommendations for first-time blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it. LikeLike Reply Hello! Sorry about what happened to your comment before, and I’m glad you’re enjoying my blog 🙂 I’ve only had this blog a bit over a month so I’m probably not best equipped to advice you but I’ll give it my best shot. I think the key thing is to be genuinely interested in whatever you’re writing your blog about, and maybe read other blogs that you aspire to be like. Like you’ve done here, I asked other bloggers what to do- I asked writing blogs and they had lots of suggestions, I’m guessing from your name that your blog is to do with weight loss, so maybe ask a weight loss blog for suggestions- I’m guessing you’re going to do daily tips, but you could also do stuff like healthy recipes, exercise tips, pictures (but none of the super-skinny types that encourage disordered eating, more like pictures of salads or whatever). To try and get views, comment on other similar blogs saying what you think and asking if they’ll check your blog out. That way their readers might also have a look at your blog. Spread the word: perhaps ask friends and family to tell others about your blog or share it online; if you have other internet-ty stuff ask people there to have a look at your blog (I told my readers on fanfiction and wattpad). Also be careful how you tag your posts- this is often how people will find your blog so make them as effective as possible. As to your posts, keep them around 750-1000 words long maybe (unless they are tips, in which case I suppose they’ll be pretty short) so they are the sort of length people will actually bother to read. Be sure to update regularly so people will see your posts in their feed, and have follow buttons on your blog so people can sign up. Other than that, I don’t really know. I’d say try and make your posts engaging but I’m still struggling to get comments and reviews on my posts so I can’t help you there! Hope this helped and made sense, and that you have fun blogging- let me know how everything goes! LikeLike Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
